A Preferred Blur Available for Pre-Order

1ham25Henry Rollins latest book “A Preferred Blur’ is now available for pre-order at the official store. The first 1000 copies will be personally signed by Henry.

I’m curious to know whether the person who receives the 1000th copy will open the book to find an indecipherable scrawl. Signing your name 1000 times must surely be a test of hand muscle endurance. But you know Henry. He’s probably been on some intense diet and hand exercise regime for the past three weeks in preparation for this mammoth signing session. Even so, I’m tipping he starts cramping like a MF at #365.

So when you receive your signed copy of ‘A Preferred Blur’ next month,  spare a thought for Henry’s poor Abductor Pollicis Brevis.

I bet he mentions that he saw me three times during this period. I hope he goes all gossip rag tell-all. Then I won’t have to keep all these secrets. :-)

I am excited about Henry’s release of this book. I know I will read the honest truth about his adventures and see through his eyes and experience another world that I will probably not venture into in my lifetime. It frustrates me that I do not always get the truth through media unfortunately. My money will be well worth every penny paid for this book and it will be an honour to own it and have colour photos to enjoy and his own autograph….ooh la la!! It’ll be bedside reading for me. About his precious muscle, I have no doubt of his endurance to perform the task ahead of him. I’m sure in all his years, this muscle as well as many others have had quite frequent and vigorous use which would only make him a more forceful encounter. I don’t underestimate his muscle at all, I think it will stand up to it’s role ahead. Thank you Henry for the book!!!

I wonder if he’ll talk about how my sis, friend and I surprised him by staying after a show and how much he apologized for making us wait outside in the cold, not thinking anyone would wait. Ah…to dream……
