Signed copies of ‘A Preferred Blur’ on pre-order are now sold out. Man, that was quick! For those of you hoping the economic crisis would slow sales and keep you in with a chance… you were wrong. OK hands up, who’s going without food this week so they could get the book?
If you missed out, don’t worry. Hello Henry will have a treat for you on Monday. You might remember the “In Henry We Trust” Henry Rollins stencil we posted a little while ago. Well Hello Henry reader, Kat, has been kind enough to write a tutorial, complete with photos, on how to make your own t-shirt using the stencil and some freezer paper. So look out for that on Monday and have a great weekend!

I miss the days when Hank and Hedi would pack all the orders themselves at 2.13.61 HQ instead of some low wage worker in Virginia. But hey, Hank is creating jobs, so I guess I’ll keep that point of view and check myself from being the jaded ahole I yearn to be.
I had a few bucks stashed away for a much needed haircut, but I’d rather have something to read when I have 5 minutes to myself.
Since they switched to Music Today, the shipping has doubled, too. I miss the old way when it seemed more personalized.
For anybody who missed it, Amazon is taking pre-orders for A Preferred Blur and only charging $11.65 but I think you have to wait until August 1st.
Guntattoogirl, the Amazon editions have black and white pics and aren’t signed.
As for shipping, I agree, Music Today is horrific. I got tickets to two of Henry’s shows in Canada last round, and they gave me no choice but $15 UPS shipping, and refused to combine the order. It knocked me back $30 just for postage, and I missed the second show because I wasn’t well.
I’m all for supporting the indies, but seriously….
I meant at least you’d get to read the book. I can’t believe I actually got a signed copy. It’s the first time I’ve been able to pull that off.
Yeah I wanted to order some tour shirts after the tour and the shipping was 2x what the shirts would have been. I wish he’d go back to the old way shipping was like $5 per item usually. Or around that.
Got my copy today. And I can’t bring myself to read it for fear of messing it up somehow. I guess I’ll get a regular copy to read later.
