If there are any Rollins fans out there who are a similar vintage to me and were on the internets in the mid 1990s, you might recall this gem of an email that was on the infamous Henry Rollins’ Stuff fansite and probably did the rounds on the Rollins-Talk mailing list as well.

Just for the record, The Mark of Cain is NOT a neo-nazi band!
Our good friend Yorick at Rollins Causes has alerted us to the fact that the fake “Henry Rollins” on Twitter has reached almost 10,000 followers. That means another 4000 people have been sucked in since we first announced it was fake.
In our site stats we can see that a few curious souls are finding our posts on this subject from the Googles, but not many. Which is puzzling, because when you type “henry rollins and twitter” or “is henry rollins on twitter?” into the googles, Hello Henry is in the top three results.
So I can only assume this means that few people question the authenticity of the Henry Rollins on Twitter or simply aren’t curious enough to google it.
Come on guys, we need to spread the word. Sounds like a job for TEAM ROLLINS! Digg this post, or any of our other posts on the subject to Digg, Delicious, Stumble Upon, or any of those social media sites. Click the Share This button below to submit!
PS. If you’re new to this subject, before you email Henry asking for his official word on the subject, he’s already clarified that he is not on Twitter to one of our readers and several other sources.

Found this hiding on my hard drive… how it got there and where it came from I have no idea!
Our resident guntattoogirl emailed us about this gem earlier today, check it out!

From time to time Hello Henry readers send in links to interviews with Henry. Because this isn’t really a “news” type fansite (there’s already the wonderful Rollins-News.com for that!) I haven’t always bothered to post them – unless they’re in the category of interview disasters, of course! However I thought it would be cool to add a list of the better Rollins interviews out there to the links page.
So what are your favorites? Please leave a comment or send in a message with your links (please note that comments are moderated so they won’t show up instantly).
Here’s an interview sent in by Hello Henry reader, Chris, which focuses on reading, books and literature: Henry Rollins Interview @ Found In The Margins
As brought to our attention by Hello Henry reader Raequel, the Clip of the Month page on 21361.com has quietly disappeared. Is this the end of Heidi’s hilarious hijinks? Or maybe Henry got tired of being approached by fanatics in the street waving pieces of chocolate in his face and taunting him with “EAT THE CHOCOLATE!”
Well, not quite. But one fan took great offense to this Rollins rant against Morrissey we posted a while ago. He/she/it couldn’t help but leave this comment. Talk about taking shit too seriously! I’m thinking a new line of t-shirts is in order, reminiscent of the “Team Jolie” and “Team Aniston” tees that emerged after Brad and Jen broke up.. Go Team!

We’ve posted about this a couple of times before, but it seems the word is yet to reach the 8000 or so folk who are still following the Henry Rollins impostor on Twitter. 8000! Wow, that’s a lot of bullshit detectors in serious need of repair. No wonder Bush got elected.
Today Hello Henry received yet another email about the subject so lets re-cap shall we? A couple of months ago we wrote this post in which we outlined the reasons why “Henry Rollins” on Twitter is a fake. Shortly after one of our readers, Marco, contacted the real Henry Rollins for the official word, which is “I have never been on Twitter ever”.
It seems silly to have to clarify something which seems so obviously fake, I guess my bullshit detector is just a well tuned machine. In the early days of the internet there were celebrity impostors popping up all over the place, one learnt to be skeptical.
So there you have it. If you have a Twitter account, do your civic duty and “twitter” about the Rollins impostor on Twitter, link to Hello Henry and let it be known – Henry Rollins dispatches, he does not twitter!
Dan over at PenguinPunk.net has declared July 3rd Henry Rollins Appreciation Day. OK, so we’ve missed it, but pencil it in for next year! I stumbled across it while checking out the Henry Rollins page on Topix, which Hello Henry reader Sonya has been editing. You can check out the Topix page here.
We’ve seen it on a sticker, now see the website:
