We got this email and video from Hello Henry reader John during the week, check it out!

“I’m a native of New York city, but as of 2003 I’ve been living in the Republic of Panama. I’ve been a Henry Rollins fan since I was in high school (its a been a while since those days). Unfortunately I’ve never had the good fortune to coincide with one of Hank’s spoken word shows; something that brings me feelings of great sadness.

My brother Chris lives in the great state of Florida; he recently had the opportunity I’ve been never had… he went and saw good ol’ Henry do it LIVE!

After the show, Chris got to meet and hang out with Henry for a couple of minutes. My brother gave Henry the whole story: “… my brother is a huge fan… never got to see you… he’s probably hanging from a rope in his closet at this very moment, etc.”

After my brother was through with his tale of misfortune and sadness, Henry suggested that my brother take his digital camera and film him while he sent me a personalized Rollins message. What a fuckin’ champ! My brother jumped at the opportunity and got to filming, and here’s a video of the message:”
